Check content

  • Hero - heading and feature block

  • Content

    • heading hierarchy

    • general formatting

    • links

      • internal set up as section links,

      • external links working correctly

      • if any obvious quick wins for new internal links add in (eg to course/subject pages)

    • images/image embeds - alt text, and captions added if applicable

  • Section config

    • abstract

    • content type tag set to blog post

    • thumbnail set correctly - rectangle field used, alt, image ok (eg no written text in image - if so source replacement fro pixabay)

    • tagging

      • correct blog category(ies) set

      • department set to press if applicable

      • ensure blogs with department press also have category press

  • Author

    • set on section config if has staff profile

    • if not create an "Author profile" section, untick show in navigation and mirror in content from the Site Assets -> Author Profiles -> [Author name]

    • if the author profile isn’t pulling through after being set it may be the profile is missing an abstract, if so add one in if you can use information already on the profile

  • Final preview visual check

Check section

  • Append to /blog/ to output uri

  • Approve section
