Guidelines for Internal TV Screens

Images submitted should be 1280 x 720 pixels, if the sizes are not submitted correctly they will not appear on the screens.

If you would like your image to be displayed on screens at the Nuclear Skills Academy, this requires larger artwork of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Internal screens are overseen and approved by the Marketing team. All screens must have been produced by the Design team (design@derby.ac.uk) which may incur a charge.

  • Ensure your message is suitable 
    The screens are intended as an internal communication tool. Please bear in mind the purpose of your message and the suitability for our internal audience by site.  

  • First-come, first-served 
    There is a limited number of slots available so we are unable to accommodate every request. 

  • Allow at least 15 working days 
    Use the online form to submit your request.  Your request will reach our Design team who will ensure your message is branded appropriately for the audience.  Your final designed screen display will then be sent to you once authorised by the Student Recruitment and Marketing approvals process.  

  • Two weeks display for most messaging 
    Current student messages take priority.  Event messages can be displayed up to two weeks prior to the event date.  Some messages may be displayed for four weeks maximum dependant on approval, time of year and priority. 

  • Short and sweet 
    Keep messaging succinct. Include a call to action and URL where suitable.  Video content will be kept at a minimum and is dependent on approval and priority.
