How to add a media embed 360

  1. In your section click create content
  2. Select media embed
  3. Give your media embed a name, following the naming convention [content type] - [description] eg Media embed - Bloomberg 360
  4. Add your image
    1. Image must be 16:9 aspect ratio, 2000x1125px or if downloading through Third Light use option ' Media embed thumbnail'
    2. Pass through Tinyjpg to optimise
    3. Give your image a description - this will be the alt tag of the image
  5. Find the url of your 360 from the content list, you'll need the url in the column with heading Direct Link
  6. Copy and paste this into the url field
  7. Save, you can leave the alt tag field blank as this will pull through from the media library and the remaining fields for a transcript aren't relevant
  8. Preview your content to ensure it's working correctly, it's important that you don't preview your media embed piece of content and preview another piece of content in the section otherwise T4 will try and load a transcript. You'll notice the icon pulls through automatically.
  9. If you want your 360 to appear in multiple locations on the website use the mirror option, if adding more than 2 or 3 on a page it's probably best to use a media gallery

There is an example media embed 360 within the media embed examples of the digital guidelines.
