Guidelines for Driveway Screens

The driveway screens are large display screens with a relatively small resolution. The size of the creative you submit should be 576 x 384 pixels.

Because of this, and the short duration of visitors passing by, we must be very succinct with messaging.

 Guidance

1. Ensure your message is suitable

The screens are intended as an external communication tool. Most requests for messages for staff and students should be directed through internal communications channels.

2. First-come, first-served

There are a limited number of slots available so we are unable to accommodate every request.

3. Allow at least 15 working days

Design can help with requesting artwork, including imagery if you do not have any. Use the online form to submit your request.

4. Two weeks display for most messaging

Please schedule your display dates with this in mind.

5. Short and sweet

Keep messaging succinct.

A minimum of:

> The event title

> Date and time

> A call to action such as 'Book now.'

  • Links are generally not used, but a short URL may be included if created by the Digital Team.

  • Do not use QR codes, or event descriptions, or overload it with other text.

  • Consider if partner logos are required – these should be kept to a minimum to maintain legibility.
