How to add blog content to Derby on Demand

  1. Find the content under
Home » www.derby.ac.uk » Work in Progress » Blog » Posts, it will be housed in a sub-section for the year and month matches the URL of the current live post.
    Eg for https://blog.derby.ac.uk/2020/03/marketing-internship-crocstar/ you would look in Home » www.derby.ac.uk » Work in Progress » Blog » Posts » 20 » Mar
If the blog hasn’t been migrated, create the post in the relevant year/month section.

  2. Mirror all content except the section config which you duplicate in to your section within Derby on Demand

  3. Set the output uri of your section following the pattern
    blog-[slug] eg blog-marketing-internship-crocstar

  4. QA and approve page content, (mostly this will be just pattern hero and text block)

  5. Update section config (as per table below)

  6. Preview your section to check everything is displaying as expected

  7. “Gate” your content by mirroring the content type Gate content - Derby on Demand from the main Derby on Demand landing page
